✣...Awakening, once experienced, remains an undercurrent of our consciousness and the awakened "state" or level of consciousness becomes our default consciousness. 

Beauty abounds, peace remains, Love exudes...but not at the exclusion of feelings. The difference is that the return trip from a negative impact is much shorter than before, and attunement to the undercurrent is never lost.

Once we've been to the mountaintop we never forget the view, but few if any mortals live there moment-to-moment, without exception. Buddha was frustrated, Jesus grieved and wept.
So, if a seeker (someone looking for peace of mind and enthralled by the concept of awakening) comes upon a teacher whose words resonate and offer hope that inner peace is possible, then they shouldn't allow the negatrons or their negatron ego to derail them. What the fortunate and blessed seeker who becomes a finder will find, and some others (especially negatrons) will notice, is that their emotional manipulation button is broken beyond repair, and they now enjoy a new found freedom beyond words.
